While I was down in Nishiwaki (Yuki's town) for the Golden Week holiday, we made a visit to Yachiyo, the town we will be moving to in August.

The job will be much the same as I have been doing until now.  I will be teaching at one junior high and I will visiting an elementary school once a week. 

The town will be very different from anything I have lived in until now.  I don't know what the exact population is but I would think that 1000 would be about right.  But there's a lot of nature.  I am thinking of it as more of a year long camping trip.  Actually, I am really looking forward to heading down there. 

Yachiyo is about a ten minute drive to Yuki's parents house so it will be nice to spend more time with them before we head back to Canada.  And living in a small town will be great for my Japanese studies.  Yuki and I are thinking of taking Japanese ceramic classes while we are there.
